The SCUDL made many changes to improve the 2010 Foothills Fling. The new floor plan made excellent use of the area and got rave reviews. The finals and semi finals board area allowed people to easily watch these events.
The traffic flow did not interfere with darters playing and the whole room was easily seen from the tournament control area.
The charity corner was set up near the bar area and was very successful. The chalker prizes helped keep the event running on time and the spinning wheel added to the fun between matches while benefiting our worthy local charities.
The event was a non-smoking tournament for the first time and Atlanta Darts was moved outside of the room which allowed Rob Spears to bring more darts and supplies. This put him in the middle of the traffic to and from the rooms, bathrooms and smoking area.
The hotel was happy to have us return and their staff did a great job throughout the planning process and during the tournament.

I had a great time and really enjoyed the return to the Holiday Inn and the new boards arrangement. The staff were very jovial and I had a good time cutting up with them during the weekend.

The only negative comments I heard dealt with the prices of alcohol and lack of coffee in the tournament room.

Glad the venue was changed, great setup and went very smooth plus the chalker prizes was a great idea.

I would love to say that I was really happy to see the smoke free environment. The events ran in a timely manner, the chalker prizes were a good idea. I am looking forward to see what this tournament will look like in a couple of years if this same group is in charge.
